Lake Region Saturday Group, 10/01/2026

At the start of this session, Thistle finds herself badly sickened after the fight with the skeletal creatures in the ruined druid's tower, incapacitating her completely for the week and preventing her from training. The remainder of the party meets with Sigurd's seneschal to inform him of Thysrus sending a diplomat to Kallithea; he asks them to stop the deal, but they're out most of the party between Audrey recovering from mold, Thistle recovering from blood disease, and Serena and Rachel's player being out. The party decides that no action is the best action and wait for Audrey to come back up. In the meantime, Edith and Lucius go to scope out the Square of the Maiden's Fountain, where Oak (their criminal contact) has told them that some gnolls are setting up competition to his network. Edith meets with a shaved gnoll and organizes a bulk deal - 10,000 GP worth of tincture of opium.
The week passes and Audrey recovers. Edith, Lucius, and Audrey go down with some of the crossbowmen to try and steal the drugs; they are met with the shaven gnoll, a couple of goons, two normal gnolls, and a bugbear. While the shaved gnoll is counting the money, the party strikes! Edith backstabs and fails to kill, Audrey sleeps most of them, and Lucius mops up the enemy. Heavily laden, the party fights off a handful of berserkers and escapes up the street. The enemy does not pursue - yet.
