Session 14, 12/8/25

Housekeeping issues have finally been resolved :) we've got a nice spacious seminar room to play in now :) and! the campaign is going really well

The party returns to the ruined Holdman fort to avenge poor Valeucoux's death, with a barrel of vinegar for mold-clearing in tow. As they poke around the site, they're outflanked by an undead minotaur and the shambling mound; they roll the vinegar barrel at the mound, smash it open with a magic missile and direct the other directly at the thing, and watch the mold shrivel up. Gwyrhaearn hacks down the shrivelled corpse inside. The paladin and Gwyrhaearn bring down the undead minotaur, and the party searches the place. They find a cage with a skull and a giant scorpion, a pit trap, a Glyph of Warding on a door, a couple of rubies, and fight a giant crab. While searching the cave around the site, they find a stalagmite which allows a person to become invisible and inaudible while touching it.

After this, they return safely to Kelling, whereupon they sell everything and are confronted by the woman who purchased the scorpion cage. She tells them she found a diamond in there and that she's willing to split the money with them (reaction roll success.) They head to Tor, sell the diamond and the rubies, give the lady her cash. From there, they level up Relimi and Gwyrhaearn and head out to the dungeon they originally started in, descending into the stone corridors of Cliffport. Nissa also hires a henchwoman - an Elf Thief/Magic-User, through an elf agent in Tor.

An expedition is set out for the dungeon they explored in the first two sessions, to finally clear the damned place out. The party descends to the tower bridge and enters, finding the door covered again in yellow mold. The Elf goes forward to scout. At the first door on the left, the Elf listens and hears movement - the fighters burst in and find six berserkers crowded around the copper statue of the snake-tailed demoness. Gwyrhaern and Aethelwynn slay the berserk warriors easily. They slip forward through the cave with the buildings and the room with the miner statue, searching the crypts to find an Oil of Slipperiness and killing a zombie, and come to another room full of berserkers. That's where we left session 14.
